Where can I look to find a part time accounting job in Houston? The local newspaper and job search engines don’t list many legitimate part time jobs. I know of several people (not personally) that do accounting part time, which is what my background is in. I don’t think that employment agencies usually have these types of jobs either. Any suggestions?

My friend is in non reporting probation. she have 4yrs more to go, but her charge it’s a felony and it’s her first time she ever get in trouble. How would this affects her in looking for a job. Would this show on a background check.I’m just wondering

My husband and I are in the process of moving to the smoky mountains(Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville) area and we are job hunting, he’s a captain of our police dept and so he’s looking for either a captain’s or a chief with a police dept or security and I am a secretary and a cashier but I am willing to help in cabin cleaning or animals parks or recreation parks , actually would prefer these types of jobs depending on salary and area. I am willing to learn any type job.

I will soon be graduating with a bachelor of technical management. I am an algebra tutor and find rewards in helping others. I discovered this while in college. Powerpoint is something I love to work with too. So many different areas on job search sites. Today is my last day tutoring and it really makes me wish it wasnt. Do you have any ideas what kind of job I could apply for that fits me?
