I just received a criminal background check for a job on my record it states that I was charged a misdemeanor Which I never been to court for or was arrested Maybe due to the fact I moved away Its states fail to return property rental there’s no penal code the date was n 2007 the disposition says returned unserved and no sentence

Are there scams out there that I should know about? I am posted on Monster and rec’d an email from exec. recruiters (they also go by non-profit recuiters, and probably other names). Is there foreseeable harm in registering with them? Thank you !

I was recently convicted of a misdemeanor assault battery. It was not domestic violence or anything like that, I simply got in a fight with somebody and they had me arrested. Since I broke his glasses and the glasses broke his skin, I was charged with a felony. Rather than risk going to court for the felony, I agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges of a misdemeanor w/ community service, weekend jail, and anger management.

I am graduating from college in May, and have begun my job search. What kind of impact will this misdemeanor have upon my job search? My job search is focused primarily on production work, as I am a Broadcast Journalism major.

I also have a DUI from maybe three years ago on my record.

under education I put college course work however when the company confirmed via e-mail I noticed at the bottom it shows a degree. I interview tomorrow should I call first and let them know there is an error or explain in person?
